All Tuks-Affiliated residences' details can be found on the University of Pretoria website with additional specifics that may be necessary in assisting you in your decision-making while the private residences have their respective sites on which the details are readily available.
ARE THESE THE ONLY RESIDENCES AVAILABLE IN HATFIELD?
No. There are many other residences in Hatfield run by a variety of owners. The residences shown in Accommode, however, include those recognised by the university specifically for students.
WHERE CAN I CHECK HOW MUCH NSFAS IS WILLING TO PAY FOR MY ACCOMMODATION FOR THE YEAR?
NSFAS specifies a budget for accommodation per student at R60 000 for students living in private accredited residences which will be paid to that accommodation vendor over 10 months. Students living in Tuks-affiliated residences have their accommodation fees charged to their account and then paid in full at once by NSFAS while those who opt to live at non-accredited residences will not receive accommodation funding.
