The following week we began to sort through the data to extract points needed for basing out a project which in this case was student residents. This did not take too long (luckily 😄). Opening the data on QGIS was the holy grail since we could edit it while visualising it on the interface. This provided us the benefit of ensuring that points at the incorrect location are rectified alongside any attribute inconsistencies.
This is arguably the most important stage of our data processing because working with incorrect data deems our entire project useless and no one wants an inaccurate accommodation finding tool.
